Paper City hires event structures — stretch tents, marquees, frame tents and peg-and-pole tents — along with the tables, chairs and decor that go underneath them. We deliver, erect, and come back and strike it afterwards.
Stretch tent hire
Sweeping, modern, no interior poles in the way. The default choice for Cape weddings and anything on a lawn.

Fully enclosed, lined, sidewalls up or down. What you want when the weather is a real risk or the event is formal.
Frame tent hire
Clear span, no centre poles, and they go up on paving or hard standing where pegs can’t.

How much does it cost to hire a tent in Cape Town?
Typically R1,500–R6,500 depending on the size and type of structure. We publish the real market ranges on the prices page rather than making you phone to find out.
How early do I need to book a tent?
Four to six weeks for a normal booking. October to March, and anything on a Saturday, wants longer — that is Cape wedding season and stock genuinely runs out.
Do you set the tent up?
Yes, always. Our crew delivers, erects and anchors it, then returns to strike it. You are hiring a service, not collecting equipment.
What if it rains?
All our structures are waterproof. Wind matters more in Cape Town than rain does, which is why a frame tent sometimes beats a stretch tent on an exposed site.
